An 8-Week Journey in Songwriting - Starting mid September 2025

Who is this for?

Kids (Ages 6–12)

  • Tentative Time: Saturdays early afternoon

  • Fun, play-based approach to lyrics, melody, and creativity

  • Learn through musical games, storytelling, and group sharing

🎤 Teens & Adults (Ages 13+)

  • Tentative Time: Monday evenings

  • Explore your identity as a writer and performer

  • Build songwriting habits and deepen your artistic voice

About the Class

Students will learn how to:

  • Write lyrics that feel honest and impactful

  • Explore melody, harmony, and song structure

  • Find their unique voice as a writer

  • Collaborate and share work in a supportive space

  • Finish a song (or two!) by the end of the course

No prior songwriting experience needed!

Final Showcase

At the end of the 8 weeks, students will have the opportunity to perform/present their original songs in a low-pressure community showcase.
